ABSTRACT
All pregnancies that occur outside the uterine cavity are called ectopic pregnancies which mostly observed in the fallopian tubes. Ectopic pregnancy is the leading cause of maternal mortality in the first trimester. It can be managed expectantly, medically or surgically. Due to the high side effect profile of methotrexate - which is used today for the medical treatment of ectopic pregnancy - researchers have sought alternative treatment methods. For this purpose, present data about the use of an aromatase inhibitor, letrozole, in the treatment of ectopic pregnancy was reviewed.
